HOW THE CONTRACT IS FORMED BETWEEN YOU AND US

 

After placing an order, you will receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy items displayed for sale on this Website. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an email that confirms that items have been dispatched. The contract between us will only be formed when we send you such dispatch confirmation. The contract will only relate to those items ordered whose dispatch we have confirmed in such confirmation, and we will not be obliged to supply any other items that may have been part of your order until the dispatch of such items has been confirmed in a separate dispatch confirmation. Anyone who is not a party to the contract is not entitled to enforce any of its terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

The following terms and conditions will apply between you and SussexHoodies.com when you purchase an item from us. The terms do not affect your statutory rights.

You guarantee that all goods ordered by you are for your own private and domestic use only and are not for resale; You must be over eighteen years old to use this website, if you are under this age, you must only access this website in conjunction with and under strict supervision of a parent / guardian. If you do not qualify, log off immediately, permission is denied. Any and all details that you submit to SussexHoodies.com for the purpose of ordering or buying goods are true, accurate, current  and complete in all respects and that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds in your account to cover payment of the product(s) ordered; It is illegal to use a false name or a known invalid credit/debit card to order.  Anyone caught doing so will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of authorities. We take this very seriously and will prosecute.

MAKING A PURCHASE

 

It couldn’t be easier, simply click on the appropriate school and then on the item you wish to purchase. To help you make the right choice we’ve included a size guide. In addition to this, sizing sets are available to try on at both our shops in Haywards Heath and Hove. When you have finished shopping, click on the “basket symbol” to have a look at your purchases and continue to the checkout when you are happy with your selection. At checkout you will be asked for a few details that we need in order to process your order. Take your time and ensure that all the details that you submit are accurate and correct.  A confirmation email detailing your order will be sent, please ensure that you check that this is accurate and notify us immediately if there are any discrepancies.

 

PAYMENT

 

We accept all major credit and debit card payments via Shopify Payments secure online card processing service. Please be aware that no order will be despatched for shipping until it is paid for in full.

 

PRICES

 

Our prices are set out on our website in Pounds Sterling, inclusive of VAT where applicable and are correct at the time of entering the information, however SussexHoodies.com reserve the right to change the prices of any products at any time without notice.

Whilst we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, mistakes can sometimes occur and if we discover an error in the price of any of our products you have ordered we will contact you as soon as possible and give you the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or to cancel it.

 

PRODUCT LIABILITY

 

All material and print colours shown on this website are only as accurate as your monitor allows. We cannot be held responsible for any colour variations on finished products.

 

DELIVERY

 

SussexHoodies.com can deliver your goods to any UK Mainland address. Delivery is within 30 days of purchase, unless otherwise stated on the product at time of purchase. Some schools like to make sure all the hoodies go out at the same time to pupils so on the product you select, it will tell you the deadline for placing orders and the expected delivery date, as agreed with the school. SussexHoodies.com will not be liable for any delays in delivery.

When your order is ready to be dispatched you will receive an email notification. Please refer to this email and click on any relevant link to track your delivery.

 

At the point of purchase, customers are given an option to have their order delivered to an alternative address or left in a specific place. PLEASE NOTE THAT SUSSEXHOODIES.COM CAN NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO ANY OF THE ITEMS PERTAINING TO YOUR ORDER IF THIS OPTION IS SELECTED.

 

We will inform you as soon as we can if we are unable to deliver your order and you may agree an alternative delivery period.  In no event shall we be liable for any damages or penalty for any delay in delivery.

 

DELIVERY PRICE PROMISE

 

In order to offer our customers value for money, SussexHoodies.com has a nominal postage and packing charge of £4.95 per order for all orders.

 

RE-DELIVERY COSTS

 

For all orders going directly to a home address, email confirmation will specify that your order is scheduled to be delivered within 48hrs - please note that we are not able to give specific delivery times. If you are not available to take receipt of your order and no other instructions have been given by yourself at the time of checkout, the delivery company will attempt delivery, or will leave you a card to tell you that they have left it at a secure area of your property (if requested).  If there is a second failed attempt your Sussex Hoodies order will be returned to us and we will contact you to re-arrange delivery.

SussexHoodies.com will charge customers for a re-arranged delivery (after two previous attempts have been made to deliver and proved unsuccessful). This will normally reflect the standard delivery charge of £4.95.

 

COLLECTION FROM SCHOOL

Where schools have asked for the orders to be dispatched to the school so they can distribute to pupils, the product will show that it is not available for shipping. All orders will be collated before the deadline and then shipped to the school on the date specified. SussexHoodies.com cannot be held responsible for any lost items once they have been delivered to the school.

RETURNS

 

If an item is damaged, faulty or we have made a mistake with your order, SussexHoodies.com will be happy to replace the item, subject to availability, provided you notify us within 3 working days of receipt. All the products on SussexHoodies.com are personalised and therefore we cannot accept order cancellations, changes, returns or exchanges once the items have gone to production. This does not affect your Statutory Rights.

 

PRIVACY POLICY

 

SussexHoodies.com does not disclose buyer’s information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment.  In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

 

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

RISK AND TITLE

 

Items ordered by you will be at your risk from the time of their delivery. Ownership of items ordered by you will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of such items or upon their delivery, which is the later.

 

WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

 

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Payment:
